John Forsdick | Principal
If you ask John the secret to his leadership, he’ll tell you it’s surrounding yourself with smart, passionate people and giving them the room to do their thing.
As one of the original founders of Context, he’s overseen the growth of the company over the course of two decades, expanding its areas of expertise and many client relationships along the way. John has worked on major projects and planning studies across a wide range of areas including public health, transportation, drinking water and wastewater management, community development and energy. A true consultant, he has the innate ability to lead and facilitate any group of people towards a common goal.
John has a Masters of Science in Geography, specializing in planning. He is a Registered Professional Planner, a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, as well as the International Association of Public Participation and the Canadian Public Relations Society. He is also a former competitive swimmer, recreational runner, and is now venturing into the world of cycling and the phenomenon of Gran Fondos. Feel free to Google it.
