Jill McLean | Director of Research and Innovation

CMWebPhoto_JillWith academic credentials including a Masters in Sociology from the University of Manitoba, Jill has a demonstrated ability to put research methodology to practical use for our clients. Jill works with clients and our team to research current state environment and evaluate shifts in attitudes and behaviours based on marketing activities.

Jill spent five years with United Way of Winnipeg where she honed her research skills with community surveys and a particular focus on research relating to underrepresented populations. Since joining ChangeMakers in 2014, Jill has developed survey tools for a wide range of clients including Louis Riel School Division, SAFE Work Manitoba and the Workers Compensation Board to establish baseline data for ongoing evaluation. Her ability to hone in on the substance in everything from academic to lay documents and then analyze and summarize is an invaluable resource for our clients. Jill used these skills successfully for the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba when she conducted an extensive literature review and developed curriculum and course materials on the fundamentals of addictions for the organization. She since has written and edited training manuals for SAFE Work Manitoba, adding a depth to the services we deliver to our clients.
