Providing supports to people with intellectual disabilities, Epic Opportunities operates residential care facilities and day programs throughout Winnipeg. Epic Opportunities Foundation contracted ChangeMakers to provide a more strategic approach to its annual fundraising activities. Building on that work, Epic Opportunities since has hired ChangeMakers to develop and implement a marketing communications plan. Our first task was to develop a brand standards guide to help staff and volunteers consistently represent the organization, a tool eagerly sought by the staff. We also filmed and produced a video featuring a resident in one of the Epic Opportunities homes that illustrated first-hand the value of supporting the Foundation in providing homes to individuals with intellectual disabilities. The video premiered at the Foundation’s annual November fundraising event.
